It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for! On October 20th, 2026 we turn 55 years old as an organization and we did so virtually and apart. But today we are happy to officially release and announce that the AVC and undergraduate chapter are moving forward with our plans.

As we approach this milestone anniversary, we gather beneath the light of the Burning Heart, a symbol not only of our history, but of the bond that has connected generations of MI Theta brothers for 55 years. Its flame represents more than memory, it represents the bridges formed through shared experiences, mentorship, service, and unwavering support for one another. Our chapter was not built in isolation, but through relationships that linked past to present and present to future. This year we honor the giants who laid the foundation before us and the achievements that stand as pillars of their dedication. Yet our task is greater than remembrance. We are called to strengthen those connections, to extend a hand to those who come after us, and to leave pathways stronger than we found them. By carrying the Burning Heart forward, we commit ourselves to building lasting bridges that will guide, support, and inspire future MI Thetas for generations to come.
